Agent settings

Open Agents → Settings.

Collect leads

Agents → Settings → Collect leads shows a lead form in chat so visitors can share contact details.

  1. Turn Collect leads on.
  2. Choose collection type:
    • Immediate — show the form when chat starts, before the conversation.
    • After X messages — wait for a set number of visitor messages (1–50), then show the form.
    • AI-driven (dynamic) — describe when the AI should ask (for example pricing or demos). The form can also appear as a soft prompt.
  3. Enable the fields to request: Email, Full name, Phone. Mark each required or optional.
  4. Optionally enable Notice & consent — consent checkbox copy (rich text with privacy link) and whether consent is required.
  5. Save the Collect leads section.

Lead values are available to Custom HTTPS actions as context (for example contact.email, contact.name, contact.phone).

This is separate from Collect → Contact form workplaces. Use Preview after changes.

Persona and safety

Configure how the agent should sound and what it must not do. Keep instructions specific to your business. Pair this with solid knowledge.

Availability (online indicator)

Schedule controls the online indicator in the chat UI. Off-hours does not block chat by itself — visitors can still message. Treat schedule as “show online / hide indicator,” not a full offline queue.

Idle auto-close

Configure idle auto-close so inactive conversations close according to your settings. Closure applies when sessions are accessed.

Launcher

For bubble-style chat, launcher options control the teaser label and pulse on the chat button. Publish the matching chat widgets after changes.
